Located in Cook Country, the Village of Arlington Heights has about 75,500 people. The Village is located east of State Highway 53, and convenient Intertate 90 to Chicago passes through the South end of the Village. Interesting facts about Arlington Heights is that the average age is 36.7 years old, and the average income is $59,647, as of the 1990 Census. Arlington Heights updates it's website on a very regular basis letting its residences know what's happening and interesting. You can see their site at Official Arlington Heights website.. The last few years, Arlington Heights has witnessed an upgrading of infrastructure and development of new recreation areas in Arlington Heights. Our storm sewers systems has just finished the 10 year upgrade project. In conjunction with the project, Arlington Heights developed the Lake Arlington lake with boathouse, boat rentals and a wonderful walking path around the entire perimeter. To the south west of the Lake is glorious Lake Arlington Towne subdivision, which offers easy access to the Lake, a clubhouse with exercise equipment and a meeting/party area for one of the prettiest settings for a wedding. Townhomes, lofts, duplexes and single family homes are easily accessed from Schoenbeck and Palatine Roads. Some of the town homes offer 1 car garages, while others offer 2 car garages. There aren't many single family homes in this area but all are well maintained, upgraded and stunning to everyone. In addition there was a former landfill between Lake Cook Rd and Dundee, just east of 53 which is now known as Nickol Knoll Park. It offers a 9 hole golf course, ball parks and a exercise walking path. Metropolis building of awesome proportions. It is a mixed use building housing a restaurant, bar, banquets halls, meeting rooms and a live theater. This building is right now going through a change in ownership, but we expect that the theater will have even more preformances, plays and comedy routines than before. About Appraisals >The Language of Real Estate Agents
Technical terms can be confusing to people who do not work in a profession, and real estate agents use language that may be confusing to many home buyers and sellers.
If you find your eyes glazing over when your real estate agent starts talking about escrow, clear title, easements, encroachments, contingencies, financing, appraisals and the closing process, don't hesitate to ask for a translation. Buying or selling a home is a major step, and professional real estate agents are totally committed to helping you understand the process thoroughly so that you can make informed decisions.
The simple transaction of trading the sellers' house for the buyers' money has become complicated by several hundred years of custom, common law, and state and local government requirements. Consumer demands have resulted in up-to-date rules that communication be as clear and understandable as possible. Real estate agents work to create an atmosphere in which you feel comfortable to ask questions.
