Tower Lakes

Tower Lakes

The Tiny village of Tower lakes is just east of the Fox River and  just north of North Barrington and the Village. This tiny village is a population barely hits 3000 yet it houses a beach, numerous parks, about 400 homes on narrow, winding roads. Originating in the 1930, Tower Lakes Improvements Association maintains the two beautiful lakes and the beautiful scenery. It supports the common interests of the homeowners of Tower Lakes. It is mandatory membership. The TLIA maintains the common lands, parks tennis courts, volleyball courts and soccer field. This creates and maintains a good social environment for all and preserves the natural resources of Tower Lakes for current and future residents. There are many homeowner events families can attend with neighbors, for example, Oct 15 is the Chili Cook off and there are plans at the Soccer Field to kick off Halloween with a pizza Party! They have revised the plans for the second year to have decorated cars and meet the Tower Lakes ghosts and goblins. Trick or Treating starts at 4:30 pm. (should be fun).

No matter the season there is good healthy fun for all. Kayaking on the lake, catching some rays on the beach while the kids are making grand sand castles, or watching the latest ducks swim across the lake. The private beach has a volleyball net, non-motorized boats, water toys and a life guard on duty. Not far from the beach is a place to eat your lunch with friends.

Newest improvement in Tower Lakes are tow new tennis courts which opened the Spring of 2016. The courts are open from May 1st to Oct 31st. The main objective is to set up social, play-educational lessons and funds are collected to maintain the courts in safe playable conditions.

The village is within Barrington Community School district 220 and falls under Barrington's zip code and post office. Elementary school is North Barrington , Barrington Middle School-Station Campus and Barrington High School.
