Located near the downtown area, this family orientated neighborhood surrounds the 1 acre public park called Pioneer Park. Pioneer Park in recent years has shown tremendous upgrading from its Olympic size pools,to the baby wading pool area, to the concessions stand and the meeting rooms in the main building. The area also features kiddie playground equipment with park benches for the adults to watch. During the spring and fall the fields are alive with the youngsters playing in soccer games and baseball games as well as tennis on the courts. In the winter months, the tennis courts are transformed into skating rinks and for hockey games.
