For those looking for maintenance free living in Mount Prospect, there are plenty of choices in attached housing ie Condominiums, Coach or Manor Homes, and Townhomes in Mt Prospect. With the redevopment of Mount Prospect, there are quite a few "downtown" condo's especially desired by commuters.

Central Village is located off Central Rd just west of the Northwest Hwy intersection. This is an over 55 community only.

Clock Tower built in 2000 between Central and Northwest Highway and Wille Street. This elevated building with garage parking and wonderful walk in closet off the garage parking space. Convenient to Library, Village Hall, as well as next door to the Clock Tower Strip Mall which features Starbucks, Subway, Cleaners, a Hairdresser and a lovely Italian Restaurant. Colony Country. This subdivision is next to the Old Orchard Golf Course and is convenient for shopping, dining and transportation. Commonly known as Old Orchard Colony Country the original townhomes featured 2 story townhomes, with full basements and 1 car garages. Later the center of the complex was developed by Frediani Developers offering 2 car garages, Paladiam windows, full basements. Also in Colony Country are elevator condo high rise buildings offering garage and parking spaces. All enjoy the Clubhouse with exercise equipment, indoor+ outdoor pools, meeting rooms and party rooms.

Creekside built in 2000, this high rise condominium building is located at Euclid and Rand Rd. Additional amenities include heated parking, good storage, clubhouse and swimming pools, balconies or patios. Each model had open floor plan with kitchen overlooking the living/dining room.

Crystal Towers built in the mid 1970's, this complex of all brick 7 story elevator buildings are spacious condominiums. Unique features of this building is an on site manager, clubhouse & basic Comcast cable included with the association fee. See an example. Currently in 2012, 1717 Crystal Towers is FHA approved.

Dearborn Villas built in 1999 includes townhomes, as well as duplexes in this horse shoe shaped subdivision. Between Arlington Heights Rd and Busse Rd, on Algonquin Rd. (62). Dearborn Group offered open floor plans, Island kitchens and luxury masterbedroom suite. All the units have 2 car garages.

Emerson at Village Centre Norwood built in 2000, part of the redevelopment of Mount Prospect there were 52 upscale condo in elevator buildings with each unit having an interior garage space. Mixed use buildings with retail on the first floor. Convenient to Mt Prospect Metro, in this in town location.

Evergreen Woods built in the late 1990's this townhome community offers 9 ft ceilings on the first floor, 2 car garages, and some had basements also. Paladiam windows let the light pour in. Located on Golf Rd, between Meier Rd & Busse Avenue.

Founders Row built in 2005, these 14 -2 story brick townhomes (similar to brownstones) built by Norwood builders features premium location of downtown Mt Prospect. Volume ceilings, fireplaces, island kitchen and details usually seen in custom luxury homes.

Hunt Club on the Lake built in the 1970 located south of Golf Rd off 83. The association dues range from $165 to $385. The Association fees include Water, Gas, Parking, Common Insurance, Club House, Pool, Exterior Maintenance, Lawn Care, Scavenger, Snow removal. Amenities in Hunt Club on the Lake: Bike Room/Bike Trails,Coin Laundry,Elevator,Storage,Park/Playground,Party Room,Pool-Outdoors,Security Door Locks,Tennis Court/s.

Huntington Commons. These 4 story brick condo buildings featuring elevators, wide hallways were built in the mid 1970's, but most have had major renovations in the past 10 years. Tennis Courts, pool and playground are available. Many have garages.

Kensington Commons located west of Randhurst and east of Wheeling Rd, these 3 story brick buildings offer courtyard parking, walk up units. The first floor condos offer private basements under their unit.

Lofts at Village Centre built by Norwood across from the Mount Prospect train station and a highlight of the Mount Prospect redevelopment.. Mixed use building with shops on the first floor and 70 condos in this 7 story brick elevator building.

Millers Crossing is south of Northwest Highway, within blocks of the metra train station, east of Emerson on Prospect Avenue. Built in 2005, these models offered granite counters, maple cabinetry and hardwood flooring. Association fee includes common insurance, exterior maintenance, lawn care and snow removal. Fha approved and self managed.

Millers Station located off Central and west of Northwest Highway, these townhomes offer ranch, penthouse and 2 story models with 1 car attached garages. Association includes: Common Insurance, Exterior Maintenance, Lawn Care, Scavenger, Snow Removal.

Old Orchard Coach Homes offer single entry to 4 units with attached 4 garages accessed with a interior hallway. Visitor parking in each cul de sac. 2-3 bedroom models features vaulted ceilings. Other amenites include eat in pantry kitchen, dining room L & fireplaces. Huge balconies on 2nd floor while 1st floor had a choice of patio or screened in porch.

Orchard Vale Manor Homes, located south of Camp McDonald Rd and North of Euclid Avenue off 83. Easy access to Palatine Rd expressway. Close to Randhurst shopping and movie theater. Coach home design with 2-3 bedroom units, each with individual garage.
